Embellished Wedding Hair Style using Melanj Hair Clip-ins

Wedding bells are in the air and wedding season is upon us. Whether you’ve spent the last year or the last month planning your special day, the stress of having every detail figured out can really get the best of you! Aside from the decor, the music and the guest list - one of the most important things to any bride is feeling and looking like the best version of yourself on your wedding day. The last thing you want is to feel uncomfortable or be unrecognizable on the day that’s all about you ….oh, and, your groom! 

More and more brides are choosing to wear natural hairstyles for their big day; showcasing their curls and coils in the most creative ways. Some styles are very intricate and detailed while others are simple and elegant. Either way, the looks are giving exactly what they’re supposed to give!

One of our beloved brides, Kayla, chose to style her own hair using a set of Melanj Hair clip-ins for her wedding day. Kayla’s look features cascading curls and face framing embellishments for the perfect finishing touch to her bridal look. Let’s take a step by step look at how Kayla created her wedding day hairstyle.

 

To start, she put her hair into two slicked back, low buns. This gives the style a foundation and makes it where it sticks out a bit from your head instead of laying more flat. 

She began placing her clip-ins pieces around the buns and in the center, laying each clip-in weft until the back of her head was completely covered. 

For the last piece, she used the largest weft and placed it upside down near the front half of her head. This is to create volume at the top of the head and ensures no wefts are exposed.

She then secures a beautiful head piece with bobby pins right along where that last clip-in piece was installed.

To finish the look, she uses eyelash glue to attach flat-headed pearls in the area between her hairline and the embellished head piece. This really ties the look together!

The finished look is stunning and we can't believe how simple it is to re-create!
