Our Coarse Kinky Straight hair extensions have a tight wave pattern with low luster and coarse hair strands. Coarse Kinky Straight hair is perfect for many styles and can be worn in its natural state or lightly straightened to relax the texture. Our clip-in extensions feature silicone coated clips for a strong hold without the risk of damaging your natural hair.

I've had these clip ins for 2 years and I wear them almost everyday and they still look the same way they did when I first wore them. I've put all of my friends on this brand and I wouldn't go anywhere.

This hair is the best, treat it like the hair on your scalp and it'll thank you. I wear it straight, curly, kinky and in a pony, never had a problem. It's healthy, it's shiny, it has movement and people regularly ask me if it's my real hair. This is the first time I put the coin in my hair and it was worth it. It has elevated my look and I've saved so much money over the last 2 years. I silk press my natural hair myself and the blend is perfect. I'm looking to try out tape ins but I won't until the Melanj Hair sisters release a line!

I'm wearing 18" ULTRA Clip ins, which means the hair is double wefted, making the clips fuller. I'm not sure if that's still available on special order. Didn't even need it as it was thick either way and didn't shed overtime as I'd expected.

take your silk press to the next level

I originally purchased these clip ins over a year ago and at the time wanted a blown out look, which wasn't the right fit for this texture, but I just got a silk press and I can't overemphasize how perfectly this blends with my straightened hair! It has that "this is my real hair" look that a sew-in just can't give. If you're looking for some additional length/volume to spice up your silk press, look no further.

Loose Kinky Curl (Clip In)

I absolutely love this hair and I am not exaggerating!!!! The texture was soft, natural and had an awesome smell to it.

The packaging was awesome, and the shipping was very accurate and quick.

There is a suggestion to wash the hair prior to installing. I opted out of this option because the hair was in great condition.

After wearing for a few weeks, I did wash the hair, and the texture reverted to its natural state with no issues.

All in all this hair is a 10/10. I will be ordering again soon.

The Truth

This hair is the TRUTH! If you want to have blow dried 4C hair, this is it. Most kinky straight is shiny and wavy like a Caucasian did a braid out. Some yaki are too ripply and don't hold a curl. This coarse kinky straight texture starts close to the weft and is pretty consistent throughout. The hair smells good, so I didn't even bother to wash it. The bundles are full. 2 bundles 16" or less can do a typical sew-in with a small center part. I would get 3 bundles for 18"+. The hair is great quality; length appears natural and even looking; and cuticles seem aligned. I sell hair from a factory, so I am familiar with what to look for. I'm so excited about how natural this looks on my 4C natural hair. It's expensive, but I would definitely buy it again. Even the stylist who did my install asked for the ordering information. I got about 3 customers for Melanj just from sitting there. I'll try to submit a picture when I take out the flexirods.

When I say don’t miss…. I mean don’t miss! I’ve been rocking with the Melanj Hair gang since 2019 and the people think it’s mine honey! I’ve had both the Coarse Kinky and Coily texture clip ins and they’ve lasted me in the between times where I’m indecisive about my next hair style. From the intentional brand experience to the quality extensions, I’m locked in. I had to double back and get four bundles of the coarse kinky extensions for a u part wig I want for the summer. The Blend

I saw this company popped up on my IG. When I checked out the profile, there weren't a lit of followers or likes. Nevertheless I went the lots of pictures and decided to order a kinky straight bundle. Ladies I got so many compliments about my hair. ( Fony Tail). The blend was on point. It is light weight so you're not getting a bulky hair natural hair look. I decided to order another bundle and clips in. Listen yall please order from them. It won't disappoint.

Glad I purchased this

So glad I went with my guy and purchased this kit. Love that it’s clip ins for me to see how I would like it and what curl pattern would blend the best. From videos reviews I’ve seen on social media I thought I would be a better match for spiral curl 3B but corkscrew 3C ended up being my perfect match. I noticed women online don’t define the corkscrew curl like it should be defined and just Afro it out which caused me to almost order the wrong curl pattern. This kit is amazing, I will definitely be purchasing my clip ins soon

Clutching my pearls..Oh My!!

I have been eyeing this company for about 3 wks then requested it as one of my gifts for xmas from my husband. It came quickly & when I first got it, the curls looks smaller than I initially thought they'd be but they were very pretty nonetheless & smelled soo good! I constructed a u-part unit, washed & installed it the next day with no hair out and OH MY GOODNESS!!!! When washing I use a Denman brush first which was a no-no for me because a larger detangling brush caused less shedding when detangling followed by the Denman to clump the curls. I was just taken back at how beautifully soft and manageable it was. Because the was sewed around the perimeter of my head and crocheted on top, I slept with it installed and was shook when all it took was a few sprays of water and a dab of Pattern gel in the morning to make it look like it did when I first installed it …. Same for the second morning so I’m assuming it will do the same until I take it out. I am so so sooo happy with my order and wish I didn’t take so long to buy but was analyzing some pics & vids I saw online and let me just say they do NO justice to what it really is! I am a hair fanatic who has spent more money than i’d like to admit on hair and THIS COMPANY, black owned AND female will now be my top kinky curly hair supplier!!! Definitely buying more!!!!

I absolutely love this storage bag...so much so that I bought 2! It keeps my clip-ins from getting tangled and I can hang it in my closet without taking up too much space.

Very useful for storage and travel

The hanger and satin bag are very functional working like a garment bag for hair! I remove my clips from top to bottom and place them in the hanger in that order making it really easy for install the next time. And then I hang the hair in the bag, making easy to grab and go if necessary! Love it!!!!
