Our Coarse Kinky Straight hair extensions are lightweight with lots of movement and made to blend seamlessly with Type 3/4 hair when blown out. Hair has a tight wave pattern with low luster and coarse hair strands. Coarse Kinky Straight hair is perfect for many styles and can be worn in its natural state or lightly straightened to relax the texture.
All wefted hair comes in 100g bundles. You will need 2-3 bundles, depending on the length, for a full head style. Refer to the "More Information" tab for details. Wefted hair does not come with clips.

Great quality hair that doesn't cause my head to itch and react badly due to nasty chemicals. I did however, think that my hair would be more course. It still had a slight sheen straightness to it. Would like to try clips but the tax on shipping to the uk cost £84
This hair is the TRUTH! If you want to have blow dried 4C hair, this is it. Most kinky straight is shiny and wavy like a Caucasian did a braid out. Some yaki are too ripply and don't hold a curl. This coarse kinky straight texture starts close to the weft and is pretty consistent throughout. The hair smells good, so I didn't even bother to wash it. The bundles are full. 2 bundles 16" or less can do a typical sew-in with a small center part. I would get 3 bundles for 18"+. The hair is great quality; length appears natural and even looking; and cuticles seem aligned. I sell hair from a factory, so I am familiar with what to look for. I'm so excited about how natural this looks on my 4C natural hair. It's expensive, but I would definitely buy it again. Even the stylist who did my install asked for the ordering information. I got about 3 customers for Melanj just from sitting there. I'll try to submit a picture when I take out the flexirods.
When I say don’t miss…. I mean don’t miss! I’ve been rocking with the Melanj Hair gang since 2019 and the people think it’s mine honey! I’ve had both the Coarse Kinky and Coily texture clip ins and they’ve lasted me in the between times where I’m indecisive about my next hair style. From the intentional brand experience to the quality extensions, I’m locked in. I had to double back and get four bundles of the coarse kinky extensions for a u part wig I want for the summer. Again, customer experience was A1 and I had no issues with shipping. I love the texture of the hair. It has a strong smell/perfume like when opened. How do I get rid of it? What do I wash it with ?
I love my clip ins! I get compliments all of the time on my hair and how healthy it looks. That’s when I spill the secret and direct them right to yall! So good.
Every time I post a pic or video wearing these clip ins ppl go crazy! I cut and layered them so they have bounce and body! They hold a curl SO well. I'm about to get a second set so I can play more! 😂
This hair was so pretty and looked like it grew out of my head. I recieved so many compliments. I bought to bundles of the 16 in i believe and they were so full. Just amazing! I even blow dried the hair and it reverted back beautifully
I was recommended by a friend to purchase these clip-ins and I’m so glad I made the investment! The first photo is me with my natural hair. The second photo (glasses, side part, in a grey-blue room with a cream colored sweater) was the photo i took right after getting a light press at the salon and having them installed. My stylist also lightly pressed and curled the hair. They held a curl super well (a little too well lol) and even after my silk press grew out, the hair continued to blend pretty naturally. The hair is naturally a darkish-brown, and is a bit lighter than my natural hair so in sunlight there is a bit of differentiation. However, my hair is long-ish (about 14-inches) and I purchased the 18-inch clips so it still blended fairly well. Super minimal shedding, very comfortable in my head and easy to install. I used a silk/satin scarf after install to minimize frizz and create a more seamless blend. The only time I used all clips was when it was installed at the salon. Also, generally I did not sleep in my clip-ins, but I was able to do so on nights where I needed a quicker transition in the morning. There was very minimal styling needed the next day aside from maybe some edge gel and light brushing. I have used both a hair dryer and flat iron (with heat protectant) on these clips and the hair still responds the same! Overall, I love these clips-ins for the added density and length to my natural hair!
